Omschrijving

Allen-Bradley Electronic Motor Protection Relay 20-180A CEFB1-12 Description The Allen-Bradley CEFB1-12 is a high-quality electronic motor protection relay designed to safeguard three-phase motors from thermal overload and phase loss conditions. With a wide adjustable current range from 20 to 180 Amperes, this device is versatile for various industrial applications. It operates on a control voltage of 230V AC and provides reliable, accurate protection to extend motor lifespan and prevent costly downtime. The unit features manual and automatic reset options, a test function, and clear LED indicators for operational status. Specifications Manufacturer: Allen-Bradley Model: CEFB1-12 Type: Electronic Motor Protection Relay Current Setting Range (Ie): 20 to 180 A Control Voltage (Us): 230V AC, 50/60 Hz Rated Operational Voltage (Ue): up to 1000V AC Auxiliary Contacts: 1 NO + 1 NC Series: A Mounting: DIN Rail or Panel Mount Label Info Contacts 95…98: Ith = 4A, AC-15 250V 3A, DC-13 250V 0.2A Standards: IEC 947, EN 60947 Certifications: CE, UL Listed, CSA, PTB Application This relay is ideally suited for protecting motors in demanding industrial environments such as manufacturing plants, conveyor systems, pumps, fans, and other machinery requiring precise overload protection. Country of Origin Made in Switzerland. CO2 Impact By purchasing this pre-owned item, you are helping to avoid the emission of approximately 60 kg of CO2, a significant contribution to environmental sustainability. This is comparable to the emissions saved by driving a car for 300 km. Availability This is a legacy component, available from our stock. FAQ How do I set the motor’s full load current (FLA) on the CEFB1-12?The current setting, Ie(=IB), is configured using the bank of 7 DIP switches on the left side of the front panel. Each switch corresponds to an amperage value (1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 40, 80, +20 A). You set the switches to the ON position to sum up to the desired motor FLA within the 20-180A range. What trip class is this relay, and can it be adjusted? The trip time (t) is set using the bank of 4 DIP switches on the right side. These switches add time values (2, 4, 8, 16 seconds) for a trip at 6 times the set current (6xIe). This allows you to configure a custom trip curve to match your motor’s starting characteristics. What do the auxiliary contacts (95, 96, 97, 98) do?These are standard overload relay contacts. The normally closed (NC) contact pair (95-96) is typically wired in series with the contactor coil circuit to stop the motor on a trip. The normally open (NO) contact pair (97-98) can be used to signal a fault condition to a PLC or an indicator light.
